Veronica Ramirez, MD

Board Certified Pediatrics

Medical School: Drexel University College of Medicine

Residency: UCSF-Fresno

“I chose medicine to help people. I chose pediatrics within the field of medicine because children are an amazing patient population to work with. I believe every child deserves to live a healthy life, and have access to quality healthcare. This can be achieved through a collaborative effort between patients, parents, and physicians. Establishing a trusting relationship between my patients and their families is very important to me. It is these relationships and the opportunity to be a part of my patients’ lives as they grow into young adults that drives my passion for pediatrics.”

Dr. Ramirez and her husband Rene have three young children. She enjoys reading and spending time with her family.

“I've always wanted to go into Pediatrics! I love getting to know families over the course of time. It is so amazing how unique each child is and it's truly an honor to care for them and watch them grow over time. My passions are nutrition and fitness and I'm very invested in preventative medicine. I'm also very interested in personal development and stress relief practices, such as meditation and journaling.

In my free time, I enjoy working out, playing with my daughter and my son, going on date nights with my husband and traveling to new places."
